Ce festival est organis\u00e9 par Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC), en collaboration avec la Lagos Film Society, l&rsquo;Arsenal Institute for Film and Video Arts (Berlin, Allemagne), le Deutsche Filminstitut and Filmmuseum (Francfort, Allemagne), l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Goethe, Francfort, et le DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) Allemagne. Le Festival du film d\u2019archives DECASIA vise \u00e0 passer en revue la profession d&rsquo;archiviste africain en tant que vocation vitale, bien que souvent sous-estim\u00e9e, d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la collecte, \u00e0 la pr\u00e9servation, \u00e0 la documentation et \u00e0 la diffusion des archives culturelles, historiques et institutionnelles riches et diverses de l&rsquo;Afrique.
